ITCABIC Mourns with The Catholic Church in Liberia
A delegation from the Inter Territorial Catholic Bishops’ of The Gambia and Sierra Leone, led by Most Rev. Patrick D. Koroma, arrived in Monrovia to participate in the funeral rites of the late Archbishop Michael Kpakala Francis (Emeritus) of the Archdiocese of Monrovia.
The sad event took place on Pentecost Sunday, May 19th, 2013 after a protracted illness. He was laid to rest on Saturday, June 1st 2013 after a Requiem Mass at the Sacred Heart Cathedral in Monrovia. His Grace, Archbishop Lewis Ziegler of the Archdiocese of Monrovia presided over the funeral rites concelebrated by Bishops and Priests from mainly Liberia and Sierra Leone.
